The protest was the latest national crusade organized by 50501, symbolizing 50 protests, 50 states and one movement.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Columbus police announced that a third teenager has been arrested in the death of a 14-year-old boy Saturday evening in South Linden. A 15-year-old boy has been added as a suspect by police and was arrested on the west side of Columbus Wednesday by a SWAT team; the boy is charged with murder in connection to the shooting death 14-year-old Lorenzio Galloway Jr.. He is being held at the juvenile detention center.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Local businesses and fans expressed excitement for the upcoming football season after Ohio State’s annual spring game. Ohio State concluded four weeks of practices with its annual spring game Saturday, as three different quarterbacks made their case to be the next starter. According to an OSU spokesperson, 40,136 fans attended this year’s spring game. By comparison, 80,012 attended last year’s game.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Ohio State University football’s spring game is Saturday and OSU police said they will be well-staffed to provide safety and security. Ohio State Police Chief Dennis Jeffrey said the department will treat the event much like a regular season game with a few changes. “We’re always looking at our plans and tweaking them,” Jeffrey said. Jeffrey said that when it comes to planning, the department factors in how things went at past events like the Stadium Series last month.

REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio (WCMH) — The Reynoldsburg City Schools’ safety and security team said it has made some major strides. In the past, its primary function was physical safety, but over the last few years, members have taken a more holistic approach with their students. The safety and security team is comprised of 13 members who work closely with the district’s social workers.
