    Minnesota Aurora FC is taking extra precautions when it comes to the extreme heat forecasted through the weekend. The club announced Friday it will move its scheduled start time to 7:30 p.m. at TCO Stadium on Sunday. Officials said fans are allowed to bring either one 32-ounce or smaller factory-sealed, plastic water bottle, or an empty reusable plastic beverage container of the same size. Fans will have access to water refilling stations throughout the match.

    MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins will honor late Minnesota House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, before their game against the Brewers in Minneapolis Friday night. The Hortmans died Saturday after being shot multiple times in their home. Vance Boelter, 57, was charged with their murders and faces additional charges for the shootings of State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, who survived the attack.

The Alaskan Coastal brown bear will be the first in the world to receive a titanium crown after having some recent dental repairs done. "This unique opportunity will offer an up-close look at the expert care our veterinary and animal care teams provide — and tell an important story about animal health and welfare," said a statement from the zoo. The crown was made by Scott Alexander at Creature Crowns.
