    DOVER, Del. – An investigation is underway into a shooting that left one injured Thursday evening in Dover. At around 6:15 p.m., Delaware State Police responded to the 1500 block of Nathaniel Mitchell Road for a reported shooting, learning that a 19-year-old man had been shot. The victim reportedly self-transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

    HARRINGTON, Del. – A Harrington man has been charged with arson following a house fire investigation. Shortly before 7:30 p.m. on April 8th, firefighters responded to a reported fire in the 500 block of Fairground Road. Crews arrived at the scene to find a fully involved house fire. The home was not occupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported. The house was deemed a total loss, with damage estimated at $200,000.

    SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man convicted of sexually abusing a minor has been sentenced to 15 years behind bars. 60-year-old Alonzo Parker Jr. was convicted in December of sexual abuse of a minor, three counts of third degree sexual offense, four counts of fourth degree sexual offense, and four counts of second degree assault.
