Marion Community Bank, which started in Marion, Alabama, is building a new location in Pike Road. The project, which is projected to wrap construction in early 2026, is a relocation of the bank’s existing branch at 7480 Halcyon Pointe Drive. An Alabama-based popsicle brand is looking to expand its service in the next year. Frios Gourmet Pops, which offers hand-poured popsicles made with fresh fruit that are “on a mission to deliver happiness," is a completely mobile brand with no brick-and-mortar locations. The company said they're hoping to add 25 more locations onto their existing 108 operational locations across 25 states. The hope is to focus on “sunny spots” such as Houston, Austin and New Orleans.
