March 11, 2025 – Germantown, WI  – To the Editor-Germantown Needs DOGA (Dept of Govt Accountability):After following the Germantown Village Board for over a year, public accountability is clearly lacking. Is it willful or something else? I hear quite a bit of semantics surrounding Village finances. News flash…. funds that enter the Village treasury, no matter the source—property taxes, permit fees, fines, funds from other levels of government, debt, grants, etc. are public funds.

1 Introduction Preeclampsia is characterized by the development of new-onset hypertension with proteinuria and other laboratory abnormalities after 20 weeks of pregnancy [1]. Hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelets (HELLP) syndrome affects 0.1%–0.6% of all pregnancies and 4%–12% of pregnancies complicated by preeclampsia [1]. HELLP syndrome most commonly presents between 27 and 36 weeks of gestation; however, it can also occur in the early postpartum period [1].

June 26, 2024 – Village of Germantown, WI – To the Editor, Recently the Germantown Village Board purchased 2 parcels in Germantown (the former Exit Realty property on Fond du Lac Ave and the vacant parcel directly behind) for a little over $1M without residents knowing intended use or given any opportunity for input as all Board discussions on the topic were conducted in Closed Session. When examining this through open records requests several things came to light.
