Bill Spencer told The Blade upon his retirement: “I'll always be ‘Blizzard Bill.’”And that he still is. Now almost eight years on from his formal retirement, the meteorologist and his wife, Kathy, run a Facebook page, Blizzardbill Spencer, that has more than 46,000 followers. FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — Members of Toledo’s Jewish community braved the recent heavy rain and headed up to the Detroit suburbs for a day trip to prepare for their upcoming holiday, support small businesses, and remember their history. ADRIAN — About 10 years ago, John Kuschell got a mysterious letter in the mail telling him that the sender’s grandfather had built Kuschell’s home. The Bowling Green State University sophomore will debut a short film titled Duality on Friday evening at the 25th annual BGSU Film and Media Festival. The 8-minute psychological thriller is her second submission to the screening event; last year, she entered her short film Man at Midnight.
