Knoxville Fire Department crews have called the Tennessee Division of Forestry to help fight a 10-acre brush fire on Sharp's Ridge. The fire is centered near Broadcast Way and Elk Hill Way on the north side of the city. It is about 25% contained, the Knoxville Fire Department said. Plumes are visible from miles away, and the smoke is blowing toward downtown. There is no estimate on the size or whether any part of the wildfire has been contained.
