Delhi’s largest landowner, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), which had been accruing losses since 2013-14, has made a turnaround and become profitable over the last two years. The agency sold 215% more units between 2023-24 and 2024-25 (till January) than it did over the previous three years. In 2023-24, it reported a profit of ₹511.23 crore for the first time in a decade. From February 2024 to January this year, the gains had grown by well over 200% compared to the previous year.
