WARSAW — A convicted rapist, drug-dealer and scammer from Perry who once proclaimed himself president of an historical society will be returning to prison after he pleaded guilty to separate counts of rape during an appearance Thursday in Wyoming County Court. Jonathon L. Bucknam, 45, pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree rape. He admitted that he had sexual relations with a child under 16 in February 2023 and with another victim under 17 in January 2022 in Perry.
