“Of Moths and Miners,” the first book published by the late Gary Kimball, is back with the way it was originally written and in a limited-edition format. Earlier this year, Gary’s son, James Kimball, decided to reprint the 15-chapter book, which the Park City historian and commentator published in 2006. “It was important for me to do this because it’s also good to know our narrative and our past,” James said. “It has my dad’s words, photos and his sketches and drawings.

This is the question Park City Follies explores during its three-weekend, 12-show run that opens April 18 at the Egyptian Theatre, said Jake Larrabee, the show’s executive producer and the venue’s artistic director. “It’s a ‘what-if’ situation,” he said. Books to Film Club looks into the life of ‘Rob Peace’

The Summit County Library’s Books to Film Club usually meets once a month to watch a film and discuss a book on which it is based. The club will do things a little different on Thursday with Chiwetel Ejiofor’s 2024 biopic, “Rob Peace,” said Daniel Compton, Summit County Library director. “We’re not going to screen the film, because we don’t have the rights to screen it publicly,” he said.
