Park Record
The Park Record is a daily newspaper based in Park City, Utah. It began its journey in 1880 under the name Park Mining Record, with James Shupback as its first editor. Following a couple of changes in editorial leadership, Sam Raddon, who previously worked at the Salt Lake Tribune, took over as both editor and owner. Under his guidance, the newspaper became known for its bold and critical stance, often expressing views that were against various groups, including Mormons, Chinese, and Native Americans. Raddon also incorporated several struggling smaller publications into the Record during his five-year tenure.
