The Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County board authorized its staff to negotiate a lease for a new Arlington Workforce Center that could remain in the current location at the University of Texas at Arlington, or move to another one. The current lease comes up for renewal this year, Lacey Douglas, Workforce spokeswoman, said in an interview after the board’s April 9 meeting. The board also welcomed Robert Sturns, its new executive director, to his first board meeting.
