CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. — Under the Sea is not only the song but also the theme for the 21st annual Clarks Summit Festival of Ice, which kicked off under perfectly cold conditions Friday night. The opening night parade drew a big crowd to the downtown and was especially popular with the younger folks. Some 40 ice sculptures will be displayed throughout the weekend, including several live carving demonstrations. For 12-year-old Nathanial Griffiths, that is the best part.

FACTORYVILLE, Pa. — The future of a college in Lackawanna County is uncertain after a letter outlining the college's precarious financial position was sent to students on Friday. "I was a little upset because I just transferred here from getting my degree in information technology, and I was excited because this place is real good, it's a small community and all that. When I heard of the possible closure, I was like, 'Oh, this stinks,'" said Griffin Atkinson, a junior at Keystone College.

Making Movies Best. Album. Ever. #DireStraits

Just hoping somebody at @LaSalle_MBB noticed the season @JohnGriffinIII has had. I think he knows a thing or two about The Big 5.

Bucknell coach John Griffin III, who coached Bison to No. 1 seed in Patriot League tournament, and 7-0 junior center Noah Williamson have been selected conference coach, player of the year. Loved John's dad when he coached St. Joe's.
