The 2024-25 season showcased exceptional talent across the Mississippi Coast, with standout seasons from both established stars and emerging talents leading to an exciting year. Multiple players demonstrated their skills at an elite level, including Player of the Year Kelan Rich from Pascagoula, who brought the Panthers back to the Big House. From the sideline, it's Brian Butler who takes home Coach of the Year for the sharp turnaround his team experienced.

Biloxi continued its run as one of the Coast's most successful teams and was once again led by the Sun Herald Player of the Year. Ocean Springs' Starr Jackson earned the people's choice award after a breakout year for the junior.

A South Carolina creation has officially arrived in Mississippi. Vicious Biscuit has been expanding from Charleston across the Southeast and has now taken up residence on Hardy Street in Hattiesburg, thanks to local franchise partners Cliff and Hunter Russum. The brothers are owners of three Mugshots locations in Mississippi and have expanded their portfolio to bring a unique fast-casual brunch experience to the area. The Hattiesburg location is the first to open, with plans for another in Jackson.
