    The Spanish capital will join Sichuan Airlines’ regular schedule in Europe beginning April 27th, with a new route from Chengdu. According to its website, the Chinese airline will fly four times per week with Airbus A350-900 aircraft configured for 331 or 337 passengers, being the only operator on this service. Madrid will be Sichuan’s fourth destination on the European continent, following Istanbul, Rome and St. Petersburg.

    San Diego will join Copa Airlines’ regular schedule beginning June 25th. The Panamanian carrier will fly from Panama City’s Tocumen International Airport with Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft configured for 174 passengers in three classes (12 Business, 24 Economy Extra and 138 Economy), four times a week. Copa Airlines is the main operator in the Panama – U.S. market offering currently 15 routes, all of them to/from the Panamanian capital.

    Qatar Airways has announced in January it will expand its operations in South America from mid-2025, with the launch of a new triangular route from/to Hamad International Airport in Doha. The airline will operate the Doha – Bogotá – Caracas – Doha route with Boeing 777-200(LR) aircraft configured for 276 passengers in two classes (42 Business Class and 234 Economy Class). The capitals of Colombia and Venezuela will join Sao Paulo, its only destination in the region.

    Lufthansa has announced the launch of flights between Munich and Denver using Airbus A380-800 aircraft beginning April 30th. The airline will operate for the first time to the Colorado capital with its largest passenger aircraft, which are configured for 509 passengers in four seating classes (8 seats in First Class, 78 seats in Business Class, 52 seats in Premium Economy and 371 seats in Economy).

    Hawaiian Airlines has confirmed that it will commence flights between Honolulu and New York JFK by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner jets beginning April 22nd. These aircraft will replace the Airbus A330-200s, which currently operate this route with a daily frequency. New York will become Hawaiian Airlines’ third regular Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner destination, all of which are offered to/from Honolulu. Los Angeles and Phoenix are part of the schedule.
