A man is facing charges Friday after a woman was found dead in a wheelchair in a parking lot in the city’s Roxbury neighborhood.Tatyiana Flood, 21, was found dead on May 20 outside the Alice Heyward Taylor Apartments on Annunciation Road, which is the Boston Housing Authority's property.District Attorney Kevin Hayden said Kevin Boyette, 36, of Boston is expected to be arraigned on a murder charge.

Harvard held its commencement ceremony on Thursday morning in Cambridge while university attorneys faced off with President Donald Trump's administration in federal court in Boston. During the hearing, U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs said she plans to issue a preliminary injunction to stop the Trump administration from revoking Harvard’s ability to enroll international students without going through the legally required procedure.

Several Massachusetts lawmakers, including many on Martha’s Vineyard, are speaking out after 40 people were arrested in an Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation Tuesday evening. Images of masked federal agents on the Vineyard and Nantucket spread quickly Tuesday across the Vineyard and Nantucket. ICE said a total of 40 people were detained. Two are alleged to be criminals: a gang member and at least one child sex offender. However, no names or information have been released.
