    The Tufts University grad student who federal agents picked up on the streets of Somerville is expected to attend a bail hearing remotely on Friday, despite a U.S. Court of Appeals order that she be transferred back to New England. Rumeysa Ozturk, 30, was detained by masked Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in plain clothes in Somerville in March. The Turkish national was in Massachusetts on a student visa, which the State Department revoked without notifying her.

Daniel Orellana, of Framingham, was on his way to work Monday morning when he was stopped at a gas station at approximately 6 a.m.His girlfriend, Zulema Alfaro, said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents had a photo of someone else, but took the 25-year-old into custody.

When Teixeira was sentenced in Federal Court in Nov, he did not reveal any motivation but apologized in court. His civilian attorneys at the time claimed he was just sharing experiences with friends. That he felt bullied on the Air Base, was isolated and autistic. #wcvb
