DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — The city of Darlington is looking at a new price tag for the long-awaited Splash Pad that was set to be completed in June 2024. Leaders said the price is now well over half a million dollars and that's due to the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (DES) requiring a concrete deck around the splash pad.
