UPDATE: A several-acre brush fire on Howardsville Road in Apison has been contained, fire officials report. PREVIOUS: 6-8 acres caught fire due to a homeowner burning brush, the Tri-Community VFD says in response to one of the two fires they are working on in the Tennessee Valley Monday. As of now, they reported no structural endangerment or injuries regarding both of the fires.
