GFL Environmental Inc., an Ontario-based waste management company, has acquired OSI Environmental Inc., an Eveleth, Minnesota-based disposal and environmental services company, OSI announced. OSI Environmental has provided environmental, recycling and disposal services for clients in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana and Oklahoma since 1988. “OSI Environmental has joined one of North America’s leading environmental service providers. We are now GFL Environmental Services,” the company says.

Hoffman Sanitation Services, a Durant, Oklahoma-based collection services provider, has acquired Wildhorse Waste Services, a waste service provider based in Bray, Oklahoma. The acquisition is Hoffman Sanitation’s first of 2025 and its seventh overall. Wildhorse Waste Services has served southwest Oklahoma communities including Stephens, Jefferson, Comanche, Grady Garvin, Carter and Cotton counties, for more than 15 years.

Debris from the January wildfires in Los Angeles County continues to arrive at the Simi Valley Landfill, with cleanup on track to be largely completed by mid-summer, the Tri County Sentry reports. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers told the Simi Valley City Council that debris removal efforts are progressing swiftly, with the majority of truck traffic expected to taper off in the coming weeks.
