The trust that runs King’s Mill Hospital in Sutton has pledged to improve its bereavement services after a family launch fundraiser following the death of their daughter. The fundraiser has been set up by a family after their 14-month-old daughter, Lily-Anne, passed away. Since her passing the family have struggled to get the support they need from King’s Mill Hospital so they want to raise funds to help other families in the future.

Dedicated road policing unit officers made 12 arrests and seized five vehicles during a busy week of activity working to keep Nottinghamshire’s roads safe. Officers were out in both marked and unmarked vehicles day and night, hunting out criminality and doing all they could to prevent crime and ensure road safety. In one incident, an officer on mobile patrol became aware of a Ford Transit van being driven without its lights on along Cavendish Road in Worksop.

A duo caught drug dealing in Worksop have been jailed for a combined total of five years and 11 months. After a call came in on January 18, 2022 that a car was parked up on Sandhill Street, Worksop, handing out suspicious packages, the Worksop North neighbourhood policing team and response team immediately headed to the scene. Arriving at 1.15pm, officers searched the Vauxhall car and retrieved a clear bag filled with small wraps of white powder, and burner style mobile phones.
