This swelled to Rs314 crore after adding interest.

Also, his company, Gitanjali Group, swept the Vidarbha market with diamond jewellery franchise stores, but began defaulting on delivery and many lost big money. Choksi's company first incorporated Nagpur Multi Product SEZ Ltd in 2007 and appointed his wife, Priti, as a director.
