Having completed the shooting of his short film, One Last Show, in Taghmon, Co Wexford, director Alan Walsh is now beginning to piece together a production which will retell the life of John Condron who tragically died in a stunt gone wrong in 1982. I see they've got Garron Noone now. His comments were about as well-measured and balanced as you could get but, for some people, there is no middle ground. This is why the entire country is afraid to say anything about anything, ever.

Seems we have another hurling ref determined to have his moment in the spotlight. Started with a terrible red for Tipp, and has compounded his error with two questionable reds for Kilkenny. Sorry, make that three.

Awaiting a statement from the picketers but it appears their marathon protest may be close to finishing. https://t.co/FFJl8Eamm3
