Claremont Craft Ales was awarded a gold medal at the 2025 World Beer Cup on May 1 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Claremont brewery won the top prize in the experimental IPA category for its Pepper & Peaches IPA, which features citra hops and incorporates pink peppercorns and peaches. It is the first World Beer Cup award for Claremont Craft Ales, adding to its seven previous medals from The Great American Beer Festival and dozens more at other regional competitions.

Pomona College students Josh Crowley, Daniel Choi, Annie Xu, Emma Grace Howlett, Julia Aceron, Fox Kloske, Sarah Ziff, and Jun Kwon, who served Claremont in the Sagehen Civic Scholars Internship Program, were recognized by Claremont Mayor Corey Calaycay at the April 22 City Council meeting. The program began in January and is set to conclude next weekend when the spring semester concludes at the Claremont Colleges.
