Bob Laemmle, former CEO of the family-owned chain The Laemmle Theatre, died on Thursday at the age of 89. Laemmle died at a healthcare center in Santa Monica where he was receiving medical attention after falling on Monday, Dec. 23, according to his son Greg, the third generation to run the local string of movie theatres. The Laemmle was founded in 1938 by Max Laemmle and his brother Kurt. Laemmle was born in Paris in 1935 and later entered the family business in 1961 in the United States.

Mambe is listed as a 1-year-old, 61 pound, dark brown and white, pitbull mix, who is available for adoption and ready to find a forever home. Mamba knows sit, down and paw and shows to be a fast learner, is strong on a leash and needs to continue his obedience training.
