AbstractPrevious research has suggested that circulating inflammatory proteins are associated with benign prostatic disease (BPD). This Mendelian randomization (MR) study was conducted to further investigate the causal relationship between 91 inflammatory proteins and BPD. Genome-wide association study (GWAS) summarized data of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostatitis were obtained from the FinnGen Biobank. The latest study offered the GWAS data on 91 proteins related to inflammation.

AbstractHarm avoidance (HA) is a Cloninger personality trait that describes behavioural inhibition to avoid aversive stimuli. It serves as a predisposing factor that contributes to the development of mental disorders such as anxiety and major depressive disorder. Neuroimaging research has identified some brain anatomical and functional correlates of HA, but reported findings are inconsistent.

AbstractLarge language models (LLMs) hold great promise in summarizing medical evidence. Most recent studies focus on the application of proprietary LLMs. Using proprietary LLMs introduces multiple risk factors, including a lack of transparency and vendor dependency. While open-source LLMs allow better transparency and customization, their performance falls short compared to the proprietary ones.
