A man has been charged after he allegedly threatened a woman with a knife and stabbed the family dog while two children were in the house. Police were called to a caravan park on Cooma Road, Narrabri about 8pm on Sunday night after reports a woman had been threatened with a knife and the family dog stabbed. Officers attached to Oxley Police District were told a 47-year-old woman had been assaulted and threatened with a knife by a man known to her.
