The Green Brigade previously asked fans to meet at Glasgow Green on Saturday, May 24 for 'Tims in the Park 3'. Supporters were urged to "wear the Hoops" and join the march which left the park for the stadium at around 1.15pm. Celtic will take on Aberdeen in the cup final at which kicks off at 3pm at Scotland's national stadium. Pictures taken this afternoon show a large group of fans gathered at Glasgow Green McLennan Arch before making their way across the Albert Bridge.

Jack McKenzie, 20, died in his cell at Polmont YOI in September 2021, nine months after being remanded on rape and sexual assault charges, which he denied. Jack was pronounced dead in his cell at 7.57am on September 3, after taking his own life, which was deemed “unpredictable” in a Fatal Accident Inquiry (FAI) determination by Sheriff Simon Collins, after hearing evidence at Falkirk Sheriff Court.

Police received a report of a serious assault on Wilson Place in the town shortly after 1pm on Monday, May 19. Emergency services raced to the scene. After that, a 45-year-old man was taken to the University Hospital Hairmyres for treatment. Meanwhile, another man, aged 41, was rushed to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. An investigation is ongoing.
