A number of rail closures are in place this Easter weekend in Northern Ireland. During these periods, rail replacement bus services will be in operation with valid rail tickets also accepted on appropriate scheduled bus services. On Friday 18th and Saturday 19th April, a line closure between Antrim and Coleraine will be in place.

CastleCourt Shopping Centre is celebrating 35 years as one of Belfast's top shopping destinations. The centre is inviting visitors to the city centre to celebrate this Easter weekend. Saturday, April 19 will mark exactly 35 years since the iconic shopping centre was officially opened in 1990 by Sir Reg Empey OBE, the then Lord Mayor of Belfast.

ITV has unveiled the first trailer for Series 2 of Malpractice, the critically acclaimed medical drama which was filmed in Northern Ireland. Written by former NHS doctor Grace Ofori-Attah and produced by World Productions, the series was shot on location in Belfast with funding from Northern Ireland Screen. Helen Behan and Jordan Kouamé return as the Medical Investigation Unit (MIU) are once again called in to investigate a doctor under fire.

Pubs and bars from every corner of Northern Ireland have been recognised by the National Pub & Bar Awards 2025. The annual event, taking place in London this June, highlights an eclectic range of venues across the whole of the UK by naming 94 sites as the best in their respective counties. More than 250 businesses have been nominated for a National Pub & Bar Award, which will be narrowed down to Country and Regional winners on the big night.
