Still, 23% said it's "negative" or a "terrible move."HPE’s $14 billion acquisition of Juniper Networks is getting an overall thumbs-up from channel partners, according to a new poll. Canalys – which is owned by Channel Futures’ parent company, Informa – conducted a survey of partners on the acquisition. Almost one-quarter (24%) said it was it was an “excellent” move that makes HPE a new leader in AI-led networking.

Customer experience (CX) expert and channel sales leader Kristy Thomas is taking her skills to the partner side. Professional services firm E78 Partners has hired Thomas as vice president of enterprise solutions. Oak Brook, Illinois-based E78 has used funding from private equity firm Further Global Management to buy multiple technology advisor agencies and create a technology division.

Cullen had "nothing but love" for MSPs.The channel is mourning the recent death of channel vet Mike Cullen, known as the “Godfather” of the MSP industry. Cullen served as a transformative leader in the channel for more than 20 years until his retirement last year. Carbon Black will launch a new partner program this year. Carbon Black, now owned by Broadcom, is assuring its partners that its partner program isn’t going anywhere. Jason Rolleston, Carbon Black’s vice president and general manager, sent a letter to partners addressing concerns with the way Broadcom is handling VMWare partnerships. Broadcom is terminating VMware partner programs. It will transition all VMware partner programs to the by-invitation-only Broadcom Advantage Partner Program.
