    STEINHATCHEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The beloved Steinhatchee restaurant, Roy’s Restaurant, is working to rebuild after Hurricane Helene left the building severely damaged in September. Hurricane Helene’s strong winds threw the restaurant to the next lot. At this time, the restaurant is operating out of its food truck until the rebuild is complete. However, this isn’t the first time the restaurant, established in 1969, has had to rebuild from the ground up.

TCS Case Manager Kayla Dover said the pantry is helping ease the burden on students when groceries are already expensive and many students may not be able to work as often.

    TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - More affordable housing has arrived in the capital city. Wednesday afternoon, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the opening of Ridge Road Flats. It’s a new 250-unit housing apartment located at 795 Ridge Road. The Leon County Government, City of Tallahassee and Elmington Capital were among several other community partners in attendance at the ceremony.
