(WCTV) - After the man responsible for a 2023 hit-and-run that killed a man was sentenced on Friday, friends and family are now focused on keeping their loved oneβs memory alive. βHe cared about people,β Jake Boykinβs mother Kim Boykin said. βHe took time to get to know people and their stories. Just a rare gift.β Boykin was a Florida State doctoral student and national championship cyclist.

HAVANA, Fla. (WCTV) β After neighbors recently threatened to sue the Allison Christmas Spectacular for being a nuisance, the owner of the massive holiday light show, Daniel Allison, says they have reached an agreement. Allison said they are waiting to release specific details about the agreement until the proper documents are signed. However, he confirmed there will be a light show moving forward, though it may not be in its usual location on Sandy Creek Road.
