The Connecticut Mirror will provide live town-by-town election results Tuesday night for all of the state House and Senate seats, as well as results for the U.S. House races and for U.S. Senate. The CT Mirror will also have town-by-town results for the presidential election and for the constitutional amendment on absentee voting. All of the results will be provided by the Associated Press. They will automatically update on the CT Mirror website as they become available after the polls close.

Ned Lamont on Friday called for an independent audit of the entire Connecticut State Colleges and Universities system, just one day after a news report raised questions about Chancellor Terrence Cheng’s expenses. The CT Insider story pointed to expensive meals including $60 steaks, $490 chauffeured rides and other questionable spending. The story also raises questions about Cheng’s use of a state vehicle and whether he properly reported personal use for tax purposes.

A cardiologist caring for patients at Manchester Memorial Hospital said his group has been waiting for months to get paid by the hospital’s owner, the embattled private-equity firm Prospect Medical Holdings. Dr. Saqib Naseer, partner at New England Cardiology Associates, said three other practices in the area of Manchester were also waiting to get paid by Prospect. “Every group — the payments were delayed by several months,” Naseer said.

The funeral service for Thomas J. Condon, a former Hartford Courant and Connecticut Mirror journalist who died early Tuesday, is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 20, at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Catholic Church in Hartford. Visiting hours will take place at the church, at 285 Church St. in Hartford, on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 4 to 7 p.m.The Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sept. 20. It will be livestreamed on the church’s website, and Molloy Funeral Home will also provide a link.
