Happy birthday, Sturdy! Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro celebrated their 112th birthday on Monday. When they first opened in 1913, the hospital had a 15-bed facility. Sturdy Health now boasts a 128-bed hospital and 25 practices. In a Facebook post, Sturdy thanked its patients, volunteers, staff and the community. It is now collaborating with Dana-Farber to bring cancer care services to Attleboro as well as planning to build a temporary helipad on O'Neil Boulevard.

NORTH ATTLEBORO -- A $113.3 million budget for the fiscal year starting July 1 calls for no new positions but will preserve town services. The balanced budget is about a $4 million, or 3.7%, increase over this year's $109.2 million budget.

Veterans education exhibit coming to Norton Wreaths Across America is bringing its Mobile Education Exhibit to Norton on Saturday. The free exhibit is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Yelle School, 64 West Main St. When the MEE pulls into the area, all veterans, active-duty military personnel, their families, and residents are invited to visit, take a tour, and speak with WAA representatives and volunteers. They can also learn more about the national nonprofit and its volunteer work year-round.

NORFOLK -- A town resident and his brother, who co-owned a now-defunct Florida company, have been given a year of probation for shipping face masks that were misbranded as N95 respirators and price-gouging hospitals during the early days of the pandemic. Jeffrey Motha, 36, of Norfolk, and Daniel Motha, 40, of Miami, were sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Myong J. Joun, who also ordered them to pay a $9,500 fine, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Massachusetts said.
