Enquiries are ongoing, and the man's family have been notified. A man's body has been found near an offshore wind farm, as an investigation is launched by police into the "unexplained" death. The discovery was made in New Brighton, near the Burbo Wind Farm on Merseyside, on Wednesday, May 7, the Mirror reports. The alarm was initially raised by HM Coastguard at around 6.40pm, who immediately contacted Merseyside Police, which has urged anybody with information to contact them as soon as possible.

A headteacher has been jailed for more than two years after attacking his deputy with a wrench at school, due to "overwhelming sexual jealousy" Anthony John Felton, 54, sought out his colleague, Richard Pyke, 51, after arming himself with the tool and attacked him from behind, a court heard.

Police have "growing concerns" for a woman missing for five days. The 34-year-old, named only as Tammy, was seen at her home Sunday (April 20). Anybody with information is asked to contact North Wales Police. A statement by the force said: "Have you seen Tammy? We have growing concerns for the 34-year-old, who was reported missing from her home in the Llandudno Junction area on Wednesday, 23 April. Tammy was last seen at home on Sunday, 20 April.

Police are appealing to trace two suspects after a young man was assaulted in Pwllheli. The attack happened in the Maes area, last night (Thursday) A North Wales Police South Gwynedd statement said: "At about 9.20pm (24/04/2025) a young male was assaulted in the area of the Maes in Pwllheli. Two male suspects made off on foot towards the area of the Railway Station. CCTV enquiries are ongoing to try an identify these individuals.

Police have arrested two men, after a stop and search on Bangor High Street, found suspected stolen and counterfeit, tobacco and aftershave. Officers said they will continue to act on information from the public. A North Wales Police North Gwynedd statement said: "Two arrested after stop and search on Bangor High Street - 2 adult males have been arrested by the #Clear,Hold,Build team after a large quantity of tobacco and aftershave was seized during a stop and search on Bangor High Street.
