It is Steinert's third consecutive state title. Trailing, 2-0, starting the bottom of the seventh, Steinert sent up pinch-hitter Victoria Poppert to lead off. She hit a double to left-center field and, with one out, Mia Pope's single to left drove in Gianna DiMeglio, who was pinch-running for Poppert.
