A sophomore who has provided the steadiness of a veteran this season, Santacross has played every game in center field and has been a stalwart at the top of the batting order all spring. The left-handed hitter cracked the very first pitch of the Pioneers' regular season up the middle for a single, and he's been on a tear ever since.
