    When the signage first went up a few months ago at Seaboy in Cornelius, I was immediately hopeful. The older, white, cottage-style house that the colorful sign was perched in front of felt like a sure sign of something unique to come.     Big changes are in store for Beyond Amazing Donuts, created by pastry chef Jasmine Macon. On March 28 - three years after announcing a move into the space - Macon announced on Beyond Amazing Donuts' Instagram page that she would close up her shop in Charlotte's Montford neighborhood.. Macon wrote, "On March 28th, 2023, I announced that Beyond Amazing Donuts would be moving into 1730 Abbey Place.

    Teranga City Charlotte is set to open today on West Morehead in uptown. The bar, bistro and hookah lounge is part of the franchise The Teranga Group started in Atlanta, and it will bring its unique take on West African cuisine and nightlife to Charlotte's center city. Teranga City is just a few blocks from Bank of America Stadium in an 1,800-square-foot location where the former sports bar CLT Hub was located.
