Stateline organization sets now accepting student applicants for scholarships

ROCKFORD — High school seniors can now apply for two scholarships. The YWCA Northwestern Illinois is accepting applications for its Bright Future and La Voz Latina Scholarships. The deadlines are set for Saturday, January 20, 2024. Highschool seniors who attend school in Winnebago, Boone, Stephenson, and Jo Daviess Counties are encouraged to apply. The Bright Future Scholarship is for female high school seniors who plan on furthering their education, with a 2.5 grade point average or higher.
