Shaw Media

Shaw Media is a newspaper publisher located in Crystal Lake, Illinois, which is near Chicago. They own around 80 newspapers and news websites across Illinois and Iowa. The company started in Dixon, Illinois, but has since expanded by acquiring various properties in the suburbs of Chicago and has recently relocated its headquarters there. Established in 1851, Shaw Media is the third oldest family-owned newspaper company in the United States that is still in operation.
