Randall had led the organization since its launch in early 2022. An interim director has been named. Lance J. Randall is no longer leading the Black Business Association of Oregon. Randall left recently to "pursue other opportunities," BBAO Board Chair Alando Simpson said in an email. "We appreciate his contributions and wish him the best of luck in the future."BBAO is a membership organization dedicated to advancing economic parity in Oregon. Randall joined BBAO in April 2022, soon after its launch.

That's how Jayathi Murthy sums up her two-plus years as president of Oregon State University. Murthy joined OSU as president in September 2022. Since then, she's helped launch a $1.75 billion fundraising campaign, took a leadership role in rebuilding the Pac-12 conference, including winning a settlement with 10 departing schools, and finalized a seven-year strategic plan that includes building deeper industry relationships.
