The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is set to begin trial runs on Metro-9 from Tuesday, May 14, marking a key milestone in the development of the new corridor that will connect Dahisar East to Mira-Bhayandar. The trial will be conducted on a 4.97-kilometre stretch between Dahisar East and Kashigaon, kicking off the phased testing of this elevated 13.5-kilometre metro line. The corridor comprises eight stations, of which four are currently ready for trial operations.
