Nurse Appreciation Week runs from May 6th through the 12th. Baptist Health Lexington held a celebration in honor of its nurses and show its appreciation. There was food, massage therapists, aroma therapy, therapy dogs, activities and prizes.

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – It’s been five days since 26-year-old John Myrick went missing after a boating accident on Laurel Lake near the KY 312 city dam. Several agencies now working together in an effort to find Myrick. Last Sunday, Myrick and his brother were fishing on Laurel Lake when their boat hit the dam, causing it to fill up with water and capsize. The brother was able to make to shore, but the search for John continues.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Bondurant Middle School is honoring the lives of two teenage brothers who died in a tragic house fire last week. A memorial service is being held Wednesday night inside the school’s gymnasium, where classmates, teachers, and staff are gathering to remember 13-year-old Bently Maxwell Fields and 15-year-old Rylan Austin Fields. The Franklin County Coroner’s Office confirmed the boys’ identities on Monday.

(ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – In Franklin County, one man has been arrested in connection with a deadly fire that took the lives of two teenage boys. “The investigation has led to the arrest of 44-year-old Dustin fields for arson in the first degree,” said Chief Deputy Dwayne Depp. According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office other charges could be added later.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Authorities in Franklin County are investigating a deadly house fire that claimed the lives of two teenage boys early Wednesday morning. According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, emergency crews responded to the scene around 12:45 a.m. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. The case is now being treated as a death investigation. The Kentucky State Police and the State Fire Marshal’s Office are assisting with the case.
