A West Virginia man is facing charges in connection with a crash that killed two Lancaster County children last month. Investigators say 24-year-old Aaron Croom was arrested on Thursday for the crash on April 18 in Laurel, Maryland, just north of Washington, D.C.The crash killed 13-year-old Carson Rollman and his sister, 10-year-old Annika. Their family was headed to South Carolina for a vacation when the crash happened.

The George Ross Elementary School in Lancaster City recently put on "The Little Mermaid Junior." Four months of hard work led up to Thursday and Friday night, when they got to show off their talent. But this show was bittersweet, after the director, Adonica Spolum, said she received the news no one wants to hear before the start of this school year. "I was diagnosed with breast cancer on June 6, 2024," Spolum said. Spolum said she was scared until the school year started.
