Good morning everyone. Last night, I went to Queens Assembly member Zohran Mamdani’s Oscar-night fundraiser in Alphabet City with Feed Me’s Anonymous Transit Expert. Feed Me’s semi-anonymous restaurant critic was also in attendance. And where was ? Moderating Feed Me’s chat, of course. The rest of my weekend was spent on Long Island, saying hello to horses at Caumsett and enjoying the sun.

Good morning everyone. Did you know A24 had a membership club? I did not. I learned last night that A24 not only has a membership club called AAA24 (awesome site design, awareness needs work), but is also hiring a new Director of Membership. The program originally launched in April, 2022. It was $5/month, and gave members perks like “Close Friends” status on A24’s Instagram account where they’re given access to secret giveaways, and subscriptions to the production company’s zines.

The Grill Room is the only podcast that my sister (who has worked at NBC since she was 19) and I both listen to. Hi everyone. Last night I visited Minetta Tavern’s new location in DC. The scene was really good for DC. You know what, the scene was really good for New York. The staff was excellent, the steak was perfect, the gave us a corner booth to observe the whole dining room (we sat across from a table of eight, shouting things like “Live by the sword, die by the sword!” and “It’s not over until it’s over!”), and somehow the design choices make the brand new space a little lived in.

Good morning everyone. Yesterday, I threw a party in Brooklyn to celebrate two years of Feed Me. A few hundred people came through throughout the afternoon, and anecdotally, people left with new numbers in their phone with intentions to link and build on all ends of the romantic/professional spectrum. Good morning. Housekeeping: spoke to me about my ex-boyfriend’s shirt that I don’t take off. There’s a story in this week’s New York Magazine about High Sport pants. You might see a few quotes from me about the pants and Feed Me if you flip through it. Ways and Means featured my Valentine’s Day movie list on their Letterboxd.
