President Donald Trump signed an executive order to try and cut the price of pharmaceutical drugs. "Some prescription drugs and pharmaceutical prices will be reduced almost immediately by 50 to 80 to 90%," said Trump. This would apply to commercial and Medicare and Medicaid. It could also include weight-loss drugs like Ozempic. Trump said this will ensure that Americans pay the same prices that people from other nations pay. It may sound good for customers but independent pharmacists worry.

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WJAR) — Circulating Department of Homeland Security flyers asking for unaccompanied immigrant children is not sitting well with some local New Bedford groups. Indivisible SouthCoast New England, a group of volunteer activists for equity and justice for all, say the flyers were put out to scare immigrant families. "If one person does not have due process, we all don't. That violation is unacceptable," said leadership team member Craig Swallow.
