This year the school brought back student council for the first time since the pandemic. And when teachers asked if the 12 council members wanted to take on a composting project, the answer was immediate. “It was really the kids,” said fifth grade teacher Tatianna Spencer.

I do a good job,” he said. “I’m a hard worker. If you need any help, ask me.”Dewey, 35, spends seven hours every Wednesday greeting patients and other guests as they walk into the lobby of the hospital. “My favorite part …. is talking to people,” he said.
