SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KRON) — A 15-year-old boy recently started classes at a new school after he survived a classroom stabbing at Elsie Allen High School. “He feels weird being at a new school. But he has some friends,” the victim’s father, Jesse Trejo, told KRON4 on Monday. Trejo said the new high school has been supportive and his family is looking forward to healing. “He is going to therapy. He’s not able to use one hand,” Trejo said.

ALAMEDA COUNTY, Calif. (KRON) — An East Bay father is pleading for justice for his son who was murdered. Derbing Alvarado Jr., 15, was on his way to soccer practice last week. NAPA, Calif. (KRON) — A young brother and sister who were killed in a Napa crash over the weekend are remembered as “sweet, loving, full of life,” according to a verified GoFundMe page. Aaliyah Montanez, 9, and her 10-year-old brother, Damien Montanez, suffered fatal injuries when their mother’s car crashed off Highway 29 at 7 a.m. Sunday, according the California Highway Patrol and Napa County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office.
