LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — Showers and storms will persist into early Tuesday as temperatures try to start climbing to near 70 degrees. The rain won't break up too much on Tuesday as the low pressure starts to move up the east coast. We'll be getting into warmer air too, which means a higher chance for thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday. We've made Tuesday a Weather Alert Day thanks to the expected heavy rainfall.
