We could be in the 90s to end the workweek, with a long stretch of warm weather looking likely as our weekend begins. Thursday will be more of the sunshine we had yesterday, but we're likely to be even warmer. The highs should hit the low 90s in the afternoon, which is only the second time that's happened this year so far. Humidity climbing.

The highs are in the mid-80s, and the humidity is going to be falling throughout the afternoon. Few showers tonight. There may be a shower or two for the southside heading into the evening, but most of us should stay dry throughout the night. Humidity is falling.

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — After a stormy weekend, we're seeing some quiet weather try to settle in to start the week. Some patchy fog is likely this morning, but won't last much longer than the mid morning. It's going to be a hot and sunny day anyways, with highs back to the upper 80s! Enjoy the sunshine as clouds will be pushing back in quickly tonight and early Tuesday. Overnight we're getting into the leading edge of a cold front and feeling some showers going through.

Friday is looking wet again, with showers likely throughout the morning and bringing another half inch or more of rain.
