MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was shot to death in Southwest Memphis Wednesday evening, police say. A little before 7 p.m., officers say they responded to a shooting call in the 40 block of Hass Avenue. A male victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was then taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition, where he later died. Police say a second victim also arrived at Methodist South Hospital by private vehicle in critical condition.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 62-year-old man was left injured after a shooting in South Memphis early Thursday morning, Memphis Police confirm. Officers say they responded to a shooting call in the 1500 block of Miller Street around 7:20 a.m. A male victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was then taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition. The suspect left the scene in a dark colored GMC pickup truck with assorted furniture in the back, police say.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An 18-year-old woman has been arrested in the shooting death at a food festival in Tom Lee Park earlier this month. Latoriania Lindsey, 18, was charged with First-Degree Murder. On April 13, officers say they responded to a shooting at the Foodees Food and Culture Festival in Tom Lee Park around 6:40 p.m., where a male teen was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His family identified him as 17-year-old Anthony Smith.
