Two Erie men are facing attempted homicide and other charges after Erie police accused them of shooting at another man earlier this month. Hassan S. Abdalla, 20, and Jeriel M. Abdi, 19, were arraigned Friday on charges including attempted homicide, aggravated assault and discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure in a shooting that was reported on April 4 at about 1:15 p.m. in the 1800 block of Linwood Avenue, according to court documents and Erie police arrest records.

A former employee of Erie Insurance is facing trial on misdemeanor stalking and threats charges after Erie police accused him of sending what they termed concerning emails to company employees earlier this year. The case against the man is currently scheduled for trial in early June, with a bond hearing scheduled for later this month, according to court records. Case documents as of Friday listed the man as representing himself in the matter.

NORTH EAST — The Pennsylvania State Police accuse a North East Township man of supplying drugs suspected of causing a woman's death. Jonathan L. Klaes, 37, was arraigned Friday morning by Corry District Judge Denise Buell on felony counts of drug delivery resulting in death, criminal use of a communication facility and possession with intent to deliver and on misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Two employees and a supervisor at a Fairview Township rehabilitation facility for those with brain and spinal injuries are accused of withholding medication from some patients and attempting to cover it up.
