State investigators accuse two western New York residents of going on a one-day theft spree in July 2024 that targeted Bath & Body Works stores in Millcreek Township and three other locations in western Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General on May 8 filed criminal charges before Greene Township District Judge Susan Strohmeyer against Emonee Q. Erie police are looking for video and other information in their investigation into a May 6 shooting at a westside intersection that wounded a 19-year-old man. Numerous gunshots were fired in the shooting at West 10th and Raspberry streets, and shell casings collected at the scene are being tested for evidence, Erie police Deputy Chief Rick Lorah said May 7.

Erie police detectives are searching for video in an effort to identify the person or people who fired gunshots into an occupied house on the city's east side May 5. The shooting was reported May 5 at about 8:15 p.m., when Erie's ShotSpotter gunshot detection system alerted city police to five gunshots fired in the 500 block of East Fifth Street, Deputy Chief Rick Lorah said.
