Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Shawnee County Crime Stoppers. Ian A. Mwaniki, 29, of Topeka, was the man found fatally shot about 7:50 p.m. June 3 in the 700 block of SW Western Avenue, Topeka police revealed June 6. Mwaniki was pronounced deceased at the scene, said police Lt. Donna Eubanks.
